Government of Karnataka Cyber Security Policy Launch

It was a great privilege to attend this event by IT BT Department, Karnataka of Government of Karnataka.

Hon'ble Minister Priyank M Kharge launched the Cybersecurity Policy 2024 today. This policy is essential for protecting Karnataka's digital infrastructure from ever-evolving cyber threats and maintaining a secure online environment for all.

Here are the key strategies from the policy

• Building Awareness among citizens

• Skills Development primarily via education institutions not just in Tier1 but also in Tier2 and Tier3 cities.

• Promote Research and Innovation

• Promotion of Industry and Startups
